Luzillé takes it's name from ''Lux'' (the light), situated on the road from Loches to Chenonceaux. The history of Luzillé goes back many centuries, including the ''polisher of St Martin's Stone'' listed as an historic monument in 1952. The church first built in the 12th c. and dedicated to Ste Lucie.
