One of the charms of Chisseaux is the walk along the right bank of the Cher, by the side of the lock (the river was canalised in the 19th c.) towards the curious Fortified Mill. The church and the troglodyte dwellings are worth seeing. From the hills to the north of the village is an extensive view of the Cher Valley.
